Basics

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and store certain information about your preferences or past actions. Cookies are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to improve user experience, and to provide information to website owners.

Cookies can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). They can be set by the website you are visiting (“first-party cookies”) or by third-party services integrated into that website (“third-party cookies”).

Our Cookies

Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies on ntcght.uk:

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or filling in a form.

Functional Cookies

These cookies allow the site to remember choices you make (such as interface settings) or how you reached our shop.

Analytics Cookies

We do not use analytics cookies. We count visits with a tool that sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and list the cookies here.

External Services

Third-Party Cookies

Some pages on our website may include content or functionality provided by third parties (such as embedded video players, payment processors, or social media widgets). These third parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their content. We do not control these cookies and they are subject to each third party’s own privacy and cookie policies.

We do not use advertising networks or retargeting pixels. In our shop, PayPal sets its own cookies on the basket and checkout pages, as listed above. If you pay by card you are taken to our card payment provider’s own page, which may set its own cookies there.

For a full list of our third-party data processors, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Your Control

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can manage or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

View the cookies stored on your device and delete them individually or in bulk
Block third-party cookies
Block all cookies from specific websites
Block all cookies from being set
Delete all cookies when you close your browser

Please be aware that disabling essential cookies will affect the functionality of this site. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.
